The Watering Can Garden is a colorful reminder that "Time began in a garden." The glorious display of selected varieties will transport a little bit of Eden to wherever you use it. Two seasons of growing material are included for your added pleasure. As always, a little extra care will insure you have maximum results from your Instant Flower Garden® product.
Varieties = Blackeyed Susan Vine (Thunbergia alata), English Daisy (Bellis perennis), and Zinnia (Zinnia elegans).
General Installation and Watering - Fill the container with potting soil to within 1" of the top. Place one of the seeded mats over the soil and water liberally until water drips through the bottom. Special Considerations - If necessary, cut the mat with ordinary scissors to fit the surface. Note that the mat material will only partially cover the soil in order to allow plenty of room for the plants as they mature.
Where to Plant - Full to partial sun.
What I Can Expect - The Instant Flower Garden® Watering Can Garden plants will germinate in 1 to 3 weeks depending upon conditions and soil temperature. Patience is necessary in this phase. Cool evenings and overcast days can delay germination. Then, after the second set of leaves unfold, some thinning may be necessary to avoid crowding and allow for stronger mature plants. Expect the Watering Can Garden flowers to grow to a height of 8 - 20 inches and continue their display throughtout the season.
