The Heavenly Butterfly Garden Roll is the most lovely collection imaginable. It contains a 16 foot long garden roll with 12 varieties of fragrant annuals and perennials.  Each variety has been selection for its brilliant color and ability to attract butterflies and humming birds.  As always, a little extra care will insure you have maximum results from your Instant Flower Garden® product.

Varieties - Ageratum (Ageratum houstonianum), Alyssum (Lobularia maritma), Aster (Callistephus chinenis), Bachelor Button (Centaurea cyanus), Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta), Blue Salvia (Salvia farinacea), Calendula (Calendula officinalis), Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus), French Marigold (Tagetes patula), Mignonette (Reseda odorata), Yellow Scented Stock (Matthiola incana), and Zinnia (Zinnia elegans).

General Installation & Watering - Simply roll out the seeded mat on prepared loosened soil and water liberally.  See Garden Basics for more detailed instructions, soil preparation essentials, and other helpful tips.

Special Considerations - Cut flowers for bouquets and arrangements periodically.  This will promote more flower production and healthy plant development.

What I Can Expect - The Instant Flower Garden® Heavenly Butterfly Garden plants will germinate in 1 to 3 weeks depending upon conditions and soil temperature.  Patience is necessary in this phase.  Cool evenings and overcast days can delay germination.  Then, after the second set of leaves unfold, some thinning may be necessary to avoid crowding and allow for stronger mature plants.  Over the course of 12 weeks, the 12 varieties will begin to appear in what we call "staged blooming."  This means you will have a progression of new interest and color throughout the season.  The heights range from 12 to 36 inches.
