The Shade Loving Garden has been specifically developed for those often neglected partial to full shade areas in your yard.  Use it to create a patch of dazzling color at the edge of a wooded area or as foundation plantings on the shady side of your home.  The garden roll is 9 feet in length and includes five varieties of colorful plants.  As always, a little extra care will insure you have maximum results from your Instant Flower Garden® product.

Varieties - Baby Blue Eyes (Nemopila menziesii), Coleus (Solenostemon scutellarioides), Forget Me Not (Cynoglossum amabile), Rose Balsam (Impatiens balsamina), and Monkey Flower (Mimulus tigrinus)..

Special Considerations – When planting near a tree, be sure to provide plenty of water throughout the growing season so both the tree and your new garden will thrive.  All Instant Flower Garden® products contain NutraGro® nutrient which will provide all the required nutrients during early stages of the growing process.  Depending on the richness of your soil, and particularly when planted under trees, additional nutrients may prove beneficial on the monthly basis throughout the growing season to obtain maximum effect.  Products such as Peters Professional® Plant Food or Miracle-Gro® are well suited for this application

What Can I Expect – The Instant Flower Garden® Shade Loving Garden will delight you with a colorful display of four annuals for continuous summer interest. There are  three varieties selected for their flowers and the amazing Coleus selected for its spectacular foliage. The plants will germinate in 1 - 2 weeks depending upon conditions and soil temperature.  Patience is necessary in this phase.  Cool evenings and overcast days can delay germination.  Then, after the second set of leaves unfold, some thinning may be necessary to eliminate crowding and allow for stronger mature plants.  Expect the Shade Loving Garden to grow to a height of 6 to 24 inches.
